General Rules and Regulations

  1. When entering or leaving the Do-jang, all students must salute the national flag and the association flag.
  2. When entering the Do-jang, bow to the Master, if he is not in sight, bow to his office, bow to any instructors, then bow to all the black belts.
  3. No profanity or loud talking.
  4. Students must address Master instructors and black belts as “Sir” or “Ma'am”.
  5. Personal hygiene is essential. Fingernails and toenails must be kept trimmed.
  6. All higher belts are expected to help lower belts and answer any questions if possible.
  7. Permission must be given by the Master before sparring.
  8. Members are expected to keep attendance regular.
  9. Do not enter class late or leave early without permission.
  10. No jewelry will be worn or gum chewing during class.
  11. Uniform and belts must be worn in Do-jang unless permission is given by Master.
    (NO BELT, NO CLASS)
  12. Uniforms must be kept clean.
  13. During class, you must turn around to adjust uniform.

HOME RULES FOR CHILDREN

  1. Children must show respect to parents and family members at all times.
  2. Children shall greet their parents when they enter the house and tell them good-bye when they leave.
  3. Children will be truthful at all times.
  4. Children will maintain a good relationship with their brothers and sisters.
  5. Children must help with household chores.
  6. Children will keep their own rooms neat and clean.
  7. Children must keep their body, hair, and teeth clean at all times.
  8. Children will not interrupt adult conversations.
  9. Children will study their schoolwork at school and at home.
  10. Children must show respect for teachers and peers at all times.
